I Am Worth Something...

...to a monkey.
I have so much crap to do and I was getting ready to cry about the workload and then I came across a note from a monkey tonight. I am such a sap (as I sit here with watery eyes).
Dear SpyC Teacher,
I am loving the way you teach. You are not mean like some of my previous teachers. I know I can be difficult, but you make me want to act better. I care about you like you are in my family! Have a great day!
Love,
Monkey

*OMG, that is one of the best compliments of my whole career!

Take advice from a teacher, bloggy friends...you are amazing in the eyes of many (even when you don't feel like it).
Happy Tuesday!

You truly are a remarkable teacher, one that most students will never experience. And even when they get you, they're not likely to get another with the same dedication and enthusiasm for those little learners. One in a million, for sure.

You don't often pat yourself on the back. I take on the job and enjoy it. It's nice to hear it from others, however, especially from your little monkies.

I happen to know that you are a wonderful person, teacher, friend, and mother (to qq at least, well, him and the furbabies).

And I'm just glad you haven't killed any children. Well, at least for purposes other than sacrifice. Thank goodness. We need a steady supply so that we can keep adding the special flavor to our backyard chocolate.

You show such restraint!
